The Senate passes Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010
The Senate, by unanimous consent passed the Child Nutrition Reauthorization Act known as Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010. Reauthorized every five years, this bill funds some important nutrition programs like School Meals, WIC, Child and Adult Care Program that not only are focused to improve the health of Americans but also employ many of our members.
