Private Practice RD, fluent in Spanish
This is a part-time position, 1 day /week, suitable for a generalist with experience.
This can be a very rewarding job and would enable the individual to work with a wide variety of nutritional issues including but not limited to weight loss, IBS, celiac, diabetes and bariatrics. It is imperative for this RD to be fluent in Spanish and a plus if she/he had some ability to converse in Portuguese.

Integrative Medical Weight Loss (I AM WELL) is a growing weight management practice in East Greenwich RI.
If you are passionate about permanent weight loss with an integrative appraoch (the bio/psycho/social/emotional model of Family Medicine), please apply. If you have a personal history with permanent weight loss, all the better!
Part time work is available with a high likelihood of full time work. The practice currently includes an integrative family physician turned weight management physician and an integrative RD.
The practice is 100% outpatient and clinical. Registered Dietician will counsel people using an individualized, personalized approach recognizing that one diet does not fit all and that some people have addictive patterns to their eating which benefit from abstinence from certain foods or behaviors, at least in the short term. An open mind to understanding the concepts in Dr. Kessler's book, "The end of overeating is essential".
